THE LORD'S DAY
"So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God"
All are welcome to join us at Grace Family Reformed Baptist Church, but please note only
members of biblical churches are encouraged to take communion and for this reason,
we will pursue continuous membership classes. (Members visiting from other churches
are welcome to partake of the Lord's Supper)
2 pm - Family integrated Sunday School
We run one Sunday School class for the entire church. During that class, we will cover a topic or book for many weeks.
3 pm - Worship Service
At 3:00 pm we begin our service. We begin with a call to worship followed by a hymn. (We sing hymns from the Trinity Hymnal that are all chosen based on theological content, not style).
We then move into our Pastoral Prayer. After our prayer time, a man who belongs to our Church will lead in reading from Scripture or a question from the catechism, or one of the historic creeds, etc.). We then sing several more hymns. A typical sermon at GFRBC will last between 45 and 65 minutes. After the sermon, we have a time of family prayer and confession. This is a time to prepare our hearts before we partake of the Lord’s supper (every week), and also the time to bring our gifts to the offering table. Then we take the Lord’s Supper (open to all who have been baptized as believers and are in good standing with their local church). Immediately after we sing a hymn and dismiss.
Following Worship Service - Fellowship Meal
After the Lord’s Supper, we have a fellowship meal together. During this time, children play, while families fellowship together.
